Our Mission

The ICOMOS Climate Action Working Group is committed to seeing meaningful and sustainable climate action to protect global cultural heritage and highlighting the role of cultural heritage in climate action. Through expertise of its members, education, training and knowledge exchange, the CAWG envisions a world where all heritage professionals are equipped to respond to the challenges of climate change in a people-centred and place-based way, centred on principles of climate justice and equity.
